ABOUT ME
HEY! I'M KERRI!
I help mid-life, middle lane drinkers take a meaningful break from alcohol that goes way beyond just cutting the booze and white knuckling sobriety.
You donât want to wake up every day promising that today will be different, just to change your mind by 5:00 and promise to start tomorrow, again.
You want freedom from the mindset that alcohol = stress relief, and automatically reaching for it to transition from work to home every evening.
Youâre overwhelmed at where to start, how to actually do it, or do it differently, and make changes that stick.
That's where I come in. Mocktail in a wine glass, shame thrown out the window, and a 90's song stuck in my head.Â
I absolutely believe you can change your relationship with alcohol and upgrade the next chapters of your life.
And you don't have to do it alone.Â
Step by step, we will walk this journey together.
(I hope you caught that đ)
We are going to tame your wine witch!Â
MY STORY
In 2019, I was a 41-year-old single mom of three with a thriving real estate career. My weeks revolved around hockey schedules, dance competitions, and clients. Then I was diagnosed with cancer.
It shook me to my core. I found myself doing life math I'd never had to do, and putting legal and health directives in place decades earlier than I'd ever imagined. The thought of my time with my kids being cut short is something I still struggle to talk about.
I loved wine. It was my end-of-day transition and my companion for celebrating or commiserating. During treatment I lost my taste for it, but a month after I finished chemo, COVID hit, and like so many others, I turned back to wine to relieve boredom, anxiety, and fear. One day I looked in the mirror and asked whether this was how I wanted to show up for myself and my kids. That's when my sober curious journey began.
In 2022 I met my amazing husband, Trevor. Drinking was never a problem between us, in fact we loved having wine together, but we both felt alcohol was holding us back. Every break we took left us feeling energized, creative, and alive. On a long walk through Stanley Park during our 2025 anniversary trip, we decided we were ready for a change.
Today I call this my back-in-time time: I can't control everything the future holds, but I can make choices now that my future self will thank me for. The upgrade has been more than I imagined, so I trained as a coach to share it.
Whether you want to take a break or quit completely, I've been there, and I'd love to help. You CAN change your relationship with alcohol!
What I'm loving...
Drinks: Mocktails (obviously), just nothing too sweet.
Eats: Anything southwest. Quesadillas, taco salad... yum!
Sweets: Girl Guide mint chocolate cookies, yesssss!
Books: Quit lit with a good story. ("Sober Diaries" is a MUST)
Guilty Pleasure: Real Housewives and Below Deck
This or That...
Cats or Dogs? Dogs but I've never had a cat.
Coffee or Tea? Coffee in the morning, herbal tea at late night hockey games.
Morning Person or Night Owl? Interestingly this has switched since I stopped drinking - definitely loving mornings now!
Winter or Summer? Winter can be pretty but bring on the summer heat! (Or an airplane ride to somewhere hot during the winter is great too.)
This is the place for an upgraded next chapter with renewed clarity, optimism, and freedom from the glass.Â
